Predicting the 2020-2021 Atlantic Hockey Season

by Justin Banker | Last Updated: October 15, 2020

After reinstating the season earlier this week, RIT’s schedule has been released by Atlantic Hockey. They play Niagara, Canisius, Robert Morris, and Mercyhurst five times each. They play Air Force twice in conference games and Long Island University twice in non-conference games.

You can view the full schedule here.

Pucks and Probabilities

The Pucks and Paws model for game predictions has been updated for the 2020-2021 season to make it more accurate (hopefully) and easier to use (subjective).

This post will be the hub for all Atlantic Hockey related predictions when it comes to the Pucks and Probabilities model. The model itself isn’t built to predict an entire season before any games are played, or announced for that matter.

Before each conference game I will post the predicted result and then track those results against what actually happens. The goal is simple: I want to be at least 51% accurate.

As predictions get made and results are finalized I will update this section with information relating to the total number of correctly predicted games and incorrectly predicted games.
